“To be a woman is to be curious, we owe it to ourselves to explore”
This is a shout out to say Happy international women’s day!
Every day, our students are learning to challenge their own thoughts, as well as challenging the stigma associated with mental health. This year’s theme for international women’s day is #choosetochallenge, inspired to show we can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality.
International women’s day are asking men and women to raise their hands in support and to share their thoughts. Our staff member Louisa has raised her hand and shared what it means to be a woman, along with a story about how she challenges what is expected of women and the effect that these expectations can have on people’s mental health.
