A l earning plan helps you achieve your short and long term learning goals. It helps you set what you want to achieve in a term or academic year. It is a way that you and the college can evaluate your learning experiences and progress. Following your initial meeting to discuss your Individual learning plan you will be able to choose the courses that will help you achieve your goals. The plan will also make sure you receive any learning support needs you may have. For example, we can offer easy-read or large print handouts, arrange hearing loops or help with other access requirements. We can also provide buddies to give you confidence to enter or stay in class.
You will use the plan to track your progress and achievements. Setting targets or learning goals help students get the most out of studies. At the end of your course we will ask you to review these goals and the course outcomes. This will help you measure your own progress, record your achievements and decide your next steps.
If you would like to download an Individual Learning Plan you can here. We will contact you to arrange a meeting but you can also contact us to develop your plan please phone 01442 864966.
