About the course

Social media is part of everyday life - helping us stay in touch, find support, and express ourselves. But it can also affect how we feel, often without us noticing.

This course is a chance to reflect on your relationship with social media and how it impacts your wellbeing. Together, we'll:

Look at why we scroll and what keeps us hooked.

Think about the emotional and social sides of being online.

Learn some useful ways to set boundaries and look after our mental health.

Create a personal plan for using social media in a more balanced way.

Whether you use social media a little or a lot, this course offers space to pause, reflect, and explore what works for you. There is no pressure or judgment—just a chance to feel more aware and in control.

This course takes place over two hours in one session. If you have any specific learning requirements, please contact the College in advance to discuss available support
