About the course

Depression is more than feeling unhappy or sad, and it can affect different aspects of your life. This course helps you understand the psychological, physiological and biological causes of depression and explores practical strategies to help you better manage your depression day to day.

Learning objectives:

  • To understand what depression is.
  • To understand strategies that can be used to make living with depression more manageable.

This course takes place over three hours in one session. If you have any specific learning requirements, please contact the College in advance to discuss available support.
