Music for mental wellbeing - practical
This session demonstrates through group-based musical activities how participation in music-making can improve wellbeing. Come and have fun, get creative, and learn how you can incorporate music-making into your life.
Learning objectives:
- To understand and experience how the practice of making music can improve wellbeing
- To understand that a high level of ability is not a requirement to play and engage with music
- To provide practical activities that can be undertaken independently, supporting continued wellbeing beyond the group setting
This session takes place over two hours in one session.
