About the course

Students will learn about the role of medication in managing their personal mental wellbeing. This course discusses the benefits, and possible side effects and enables students to feel more confident in making their own choices in relation to medication.

Learning objectives:

•  To look at the role medication plays in an individual’s recovery journey

•  To consider the stigma around medication

•  To consider side effects and the benefits that medication can have and discuss self-management and choice

This course takes place over three hours in one session.
