This course aims to introduce people to the concept of personal mental health recovery and how it is different to clinical recovery. It will explore the CHIME model to understand personal recovery. You will get to hear about personal recovery from the perspective of a person who experiences mental health challenges, and also from a professional perspective about what it feels like to deliver services in a recovery-focused way

The course objectives are

  • To learn about the difference between personal and clinical recovery
  • To learn about the CHIME model, and how it can support your mental wellbeing
  • To hear about recovery from two different perspectives

This course is delivered in one session. The session is one hour long.
