About the session

This seminar explores the role of acceptance in aiding recovery and mental wellbeing for those in pain.

You will hear a student’s personal story and how acceptance has helped them in times of pain, and how it supports on-going recovery.

Learning objectives:

  • To understand what we mean by the term ‘acceptance’
  • Understand how it can help our mental and physical wellbeing when we live with pain
  • Learn some practises to help us cultivate acceptance

The duration of course is 45 minutes.
