What can help
What can help

Storytelling is one of the foundations of our culture. We can create connections by sharing stories – especially those that offer inspiration and hope. Recovery in mental health is not always well understood; sharing your story makes personal recovery come alive. It also supports values and strengthens lessons learned from life experiences. It helps to build community and create connections.

You can find lots of inspirational stories; use the search bar at the top to find stories relevant to you. To return to this page after a search, please press the back button in your browser.

Alternatively if you are a registered student and would like to write your story and want to share it, please contact us. You can find out more about getting involved on our student development programme page.

Summer Newsletter release

This summer newsletter is focused on the themes of summer and nature.

The newsletter also highlights a campaign to support men’s health and wellbeing. We have released a number of posts on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts in support of the campaign, which you are also welcome to support and share.

Furthermore, we have now launched our new website! Take a peek at www.newleafcollege.co.uk and you’ll see a big transformation, with changes to the imagery, layout and content across the site. The website is currently still in development, however the site is still accessible and you can read more about it in our new what can help section.

This is our first newsletter created by our new student editing panel. All students involved have attended the student development programme and hope that you find the newsletter both insightful and inspiring.
