In this workshop, we will explore shared decision-making, which involves making the best choices by identifying a decision, collecting information, and evaluating it to identify the best outcome for the individual. Shared decision-making skills enable individuals to make the best choices between two or more options. We will discuss the importance of collaboration, where people using services and healthcare providers consider preferences, evidence, and values in individual care provision. The workshop will be co-facilitated by subject and lived experience tutors.
