About the session

This session explores the role of acceptance in aiding recovery and mental wellbeing for those in pain.

You will hear a Lived Experienced Tutor's personal story and how acceptance has helped them in times of pain, and how it supports on-going recovery.

Learning objectives:

  • To understand what we mean by the term ‘acceptance’
  • To understand how it can help our wellbeing when we live with pain
  • To learn some practices to help us cultivate acceptance

This session takes place over one hour in one session.
