Spiritual self-care to support mental wellbeing
Spiritual self-care to support mental wellbeing

About the course

During this session, you will explore what spirituality means and what it means to you, and how it can support your mental wellbeing. The sense of spirituality can vary. For some people, it is private, while others express their beliefs within an established group. It can mean having and practising faith, or it might mean engaging in creative activities, being outdoors, walking, singing, music and meditation, all of which can help us to manage and support our mental wellbeing.

Learning objectives:

  • To explore what ‘spirituality’ is and identify what it means to you.
  • To understand how taking care of your spiritual self can contribute to your mental wellbeing.
  • To understand how spiritual health practices can improve your wellbeing.

This course takes place over three hours in one session.
