About the course

Students will learn about the role of medication in managing their personal mental wellbeing. This course discusses the benefits, possible side-effects and enables students to feel more confident in making their own choices in relation to medication.

Learning objectives:

  • To look at the role medication plays in an individual’s recovery journey
  • To consider the stigma around medication
  • To consider side-effects and the benefits that medication can have and discuss self-management and choice

This course takes place over three hours in one session.
